AUSTSWIM is delighted to confirm the appointment of Brad Maunsell as Interim CEO. With a distinguished career spanning over 35 years in leadership across corporate and startup sectors, Brad brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Interim CEO role. He is a seasoned CEO, strategist, change specialist and strong people leader.

Brad’s tenure at AUSTSWIM began in 2021 when he was recruited as Chief Financial Officer and General Manager, and he has been instrumental in driving positive change, particularly during the challenges associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. His strategic vision and leadership has played a pivotal role in continuing to cement AUSTSWIM as the predominant leader in swimming and water safety education.

Joining Brad under AUSTSWIM’s collective leadership model is General Manager, Georgie Nichol. Georgie brings extensive experience driving strategic priorities with diverse stakeholders across local and national contexts.

AUSTSWIM’s executive leaders have jointly assumed the leadership role at a pivotal time for the broader aquatic community in Australia. Brad’s extensive business and leadership experience, coupled with Georgie’s passion and experience driving community impact, positions AUSTSWIM well to continue to grow and evolve in order to meet industry needs.
